Film / Broadcasting / Books

From July - October 2020 I was the filmmaker, director of photography and location scout for a suite of 33 short, silent dance films shot across Wales and England in forests, castles, derelict buildings, reservoirs, mountains & beaches made in collaboration with Gemma Connell.

I have over 10 years of radio broadcast experience, producing and presenting over 400 hours of specialist content. My show Sound Tracks was a weekly specialist radio show on film scores and soundtracks from the 1920s - modern day.

My work as a dance photographer sits alongside my writing practice; as I spend time in the studio, at outdoor events or in press performances I capture portraits and documentary histories of people and dance.

Having originally trained in live art and performance, I spent a number of years learning the craft of book binding under Mary Bartlett. During this time I edited and hand made two limited edition books Jump and Slow with contributions from: Matthew Goulish, Kirsten Lavers, David Williams, Alex Kelly, cupola bobber, Phil Stanier and many others.
