ZOOTV x Ian Abbott is a digital festival of international Hip Hop work which ran from 11th - 20th August 2021; feat. live performances, rich discussions, interactive adventures, film premieres, episodic series & more.
From 2009 - 2014 I worked at Pavilion Dance South West - a dance house on the South coast of England; supporting, commissioning & programming 100s of artists and companies creating festivals and events including B-Town Throwdown, Thursday Night is Dance Night, 3 specialist industry summits and Unusual Dance in Unusual Places.

As the Director of Citymoves (Scotland), I was responsible for the strategic vision, artistic programme and financial success of the organisation. For DanceLive 15 I commissioned Graham Love to make a LEGO stop motion animation of the festival.

I was Talk's Curator for Seeta Patel's work Not Today's Yesterday. The work looked at notions of colonialism and white washing and over 18 months I brought together: Dr Kehinde Andrews, Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan, Alice Procter, Bidisha SK Mamata, Tobi Kyeremateng, Onni Gust, Pat Noxolo, Sumaya Kassim and Inua Ellams for in depth, post show talks with Seeta about the work and the themes.
